Discussion Guide

Every team and every workplace is different. What works here wont work there, but the principles of a good workplace are the same. Somewhere where people can be themselves , somewhere where people say thank you [and mean it] and somewhere where people learn from mistakes.

If we agree what makes our workplace good and what actions we will take to make it great we are more likely to take positive steps towards a dignified workplace.

We’ve pulled together a discussion pack for line managers to help start the conversation. All you need to do is e-mail it out, managers tcan use it as a power point or print off sheets . Teams can go through one topic at a time or take a day to go through the whole pack. We’d suggest that you get some managers to give it a try. If it works as it is great – roll it out and get everyone talking and agreeing their actions. But don’t worry, we won’t be offended if you want to test it, tweak it and improve it.
