Frequently Asked Questions

iMatter is a new tool designed with staff in NHS Scotland to help individuals, teams and health Boards understand and improve staff experience. This is a term used to describe the extent to which employees feel motivated, supported and cared for at work. It is reflected in levels of engagement, motivation and productivity.

Understanding staff experience at work is the first step to putting in place measures that will help to maintain and improve it. This will benefit you as an employee, and the patients, their families and other service users that you support.
